Trauma and Victim Impact Evaluations

Trauma and victim impact evaluations document the psychological effects of traumatic experiences, including violent crime, abuse, or other serious incidents. These evaluations focus on how trauma may affect emotional functioning, relationships, occupational stability, and overall quality of life.

These assessments may be helpful in cases involving:

  • victims of violent crime

  • sexual abuse survivors

  • domestic violence situations

  • civil litigation involving psychological harm

The evaluation may include standardized trauma screening instruments as well as clinical assessment of symptoms such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related functional impairments.
