This service is completed as a collaborative law process and incorporates a co-mediation model. It is most useful for parties that are amicable.
Parties work through the steps of mediation with various professionals. A typical process is to complete child custody schedules and parenting plans (which are necessary to establish child support payments) then to meet with a CDFA - a financial professional who specializes in divorce finances and assets - to identify and understand assets, child support, and marital property. After meeting with the CDFA, the clients will return to mediation to negotiate asset division. If parties are able to get through this process successfully, the next step is to meet with an attorney to review from a legal perspective, and, if it is deemed acceptable, the contract is ultimately submitted to the courts to become binding.
The rates range from $2500.00 - $10,000.00 based on time and complexity. The rates are guaranteed provided that the services are completed in the time frame that is purchased. Custom rates can also be discussed.
