Stalking and TPO Assessments

Stalking and Protective Order (TPO) Assessments

Our practice also provides evaluations related to stalking allegations and Temporary Protective Order (TPO) cases. These assessments focus on behavioral patterns that may indicate stalking behaviors, risk of escalation, and psychological dynamics that may be relevant to the court.

Stalking cases often involve complex interpersonal dynamics and repeated patterns of behavior that require careful behavioral analysis. These assessments may examine communication history, behavioral escalation patterns, perceived threats, and relevant psychological factors.

Notably, very few mental health providers in Georgia have specialized experience assessing stalking behavior and providing expert opinion regarding stalking dynamics. Our clinicians are among the limited providers in the state who are able to evaluate stalking allegations and offer informed professional opinions regarding behavioral risk and stalking-related concerns.

These evaluations may be helpful in situations involving:

  • stalking allegations

  • protective order hearings

  • repeated unwanted contact or harassment

  • concerns regarding escalation of behavior
