Mausam Patel (She/Her/Hers) earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Alabama. With over eight years of experience working with children, Mausam is deeply passionate about supporting young clients and their families. She has successfully helped children and adolescents navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.
As a first-generation immigrant from India, Mausam embraces cultural diversity among her clients. She is dedicated to helping them reach their highest potential. Mausam employs evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed practices, to ensure a safe and supportive environment where clients can process their experiences and develop resilience. She also integrates play therapy techniques to create a nurturing, child-friendly space that allows children to express themselves naturally and comfortably. Her passion lies in fostering emotional growth, strengthening self-esteem, and empowering children and families to create positive, lasting change.
Mausam offers services in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, and she is committed to increasing access to quality mental health care within diverse communities.
In her free time, Mausam enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, cooking, and listening to audiobooks.
