Cathy McQuade (She/Her/Hers) is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Valdosta State University. Cathy is currently only providing telehealth services. She works with adult individuals who are suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, complicated grief disorder, relationship issues, and substance use disorder among other related issues. She has considerable experience working with women who have been sexually exploited or experienced other interpersonal violence.
She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy (both addiction and standard protocol), as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Addiction Counseling. She has completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and uses the Gottman Method in her work.
Cathy is dedicated to helping people recover from experiences which are preventing them from living their best life.
