Athens Family Counseling is our newest affiliated practice.

Located in the Twin Lakes Recovery Center outpatient office on Baxter Street, Athens Family Counseling is convenient to Downtown Athens, and just blocks away from the University of Georgia Dorms.

Athens Family Counseling is committed to making quality mental healthcare easily accessible. We accept most health insurance plans, and also offer Care Credit, package rates, and in-house financing rates to those who qualify.

Athens Family Counseling offers services to children, teens, young adults/college students, and adults.

Our practice areas include generalist practice, addiction, children/teens, marriage and family therapy, forensics, mediation, and PTSD/veterans services.

Athens Family Counseling also serves as an extension office for the Atlanta Center for EMDR, with providers who specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, one of the leading models for PTSD.

Athens Family Counseling does offer psychiatric evaluations and med management. While psychiatric services are telehealth only at this time, clients are still welcome to complete the appointments in our office if that would assist with privacy.

We are so excited to be in Athens and we are looking forward to becoming a part of this community. We hope to see you soon!
